The daughter from Elyseum.
Unexhausted defender of the city
Emerges the luring Warsaw Mermaid;
Three golden lions rampant on a shield
Giving manly strength to the people;
The defendant armoured knight on a white horse
and Gediminas columns echo a beautiful community.
From the mythical shepherd Bucur
The country, with wheat replete,
Has joyfully spread under the sight
Of Saint Demetrius and the golden eagle.

One Moon, one Sun,
One azure sky
One Europe lies
As one big nation
Under the spell of blue starry skies.
